Profusely illustrated with over 150 photographs from World War 2, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm and including many interviews with veterans whose stories are told here, the USAF at War chronicles the changing experiency of combat flying in the service of the United States and charts the rise  of the USAF, the most powerful air force on earth.
